Jim Sebastian
I am a Managing Partner of SAFE, LLC, a consulting and brokering firm specializing in Manufacturer Product Warranties, Retail Service Contracts and Niche Market Warranties. I have over twenty-five years of progressive, hands-on experience in planning, development, management and execution in all disciplines of business including new business development, personnel, operations, systems, marketing, sales, legal, and financial. I have also had profit and loss responsibility for most of the positions held.

Most of my professional career has been centered primarily in the Insurance and Financial Services industries working for companies from A to Z, including AIG and Zurich NA. The last fifteen years have been concentrated in the Product Warranty and Service Contract arena with both insurance and administrative disciplines in multi-task start-up modes that included business plan development, implementation, and execution of staffing, operations, systems, business development, marketing, legal, financial, actuarial, pricing, with profit and loss responsibility.

I received my Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Michigan majoring in business development and operations management. After working for several years, I felt the need (and requirement) to go back and get an advanced degree in business. I completed my Masters in Business Administration specializing in business development, operations and finance, graduated with Honors and am a nominated member of Phi Kappa Phi.

Personally, I have found educating myself to be one of the most important and rewarding things I have ever accomplished and I take great pride in this accomplishment. I currently facilitate both undergraduate and graduate Organizational Management classes for the University of Phoenix Online.
