Entigo Selected by Carrier Corporation for
Warranty Claims Management Private Exchange

VIENNA, VA, October 22, 2001 – Entigo™ Corporation, the pioneer and industry leader in B2B sell and service-side eBusiness solutions, announced today that its Entigo Warranty™ software has been licensed by Carrier Corporation to provide an integrated, collaborative eBusiness solution for warranty claims management. This initiative lays the foundation for Carrier to apply rapid problem identification and resolution techniques, thereby enabling the entire supply chain to quickly resolve problems.

With Entigo Warranty, Carrier consumers, dealers, distributors, and internal resources will be able to register products, process claims, and track claim status throughout the warranty claim registration and approval process in real time and with greater ease and efficiency. By reducing the complexity of warranty administration, providing better visibility to warranty programs and pricing, and processing claims faster and more efficiently, Entigo Warranty customers can provide an unmatched level of quality and service to both its channel and end users while increasing revenues, cutting business customers' costs, and bolstering loyalty.

"Despite significant advances in automated procurement and selling, today's manufacturers across various industries face even tougher challenges with the laborious tasks of administering warranty claims and reducing their warranty liabilities," explains Gisela Wilson, director, product supply chain applications and exchanges at IDC. "Collaborative warranty applications will become the tool to greatly reduce warranty costs. When you consider the far-reaching costs and implications of failing to address this core business process, it's an area that no responsible CEO or CFO can afford to ignore."

Entigo Warranty is a collaborative warranty claims management system that seamlessly automates the after-the-sale service interaction between manufacturers, multi-tier channel partners, suppliers, and customers. Unlike other products that simply enable manufacturers to submit electronic registrations, Entigo Warranty is a complete solution. With Entigo Warranty, manufacturers and channel partners can submit, automatically approve, and track all claims including products registration information and warranty programs, standard repair time, actual labor, and much more.
